TRY Program is a free prevention and intervention program for youth and families who have experienced a traumatic event in Delaware. Services are provided by trained, qualified therapists working in partnership with community organizations, schools and police departments in Delaware.

Services

TRY's goal is to reduce early post-traumatic stress (PTSD) symptoms and prevent long-term  

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders.  

TRY provides community-based intervention to youth and families impacted by trauma.

TRY provides outreach and education to discuss the impact of trauma.

Trained Therapist

Education

Individual and family counseling in the home, school and community

Therapists are trained in CFTSI, TF-CBT and other evidenced based interventions.

This program is provided by A Seed of Hope of Hope Counseling Center in collaboration with DE DPBHS and is funded through the Delaware Criminal Justice Council by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Use Program
